Accounts Assistant (Temporary - Boroughbridge)
Castlefield Recruitment are currently working with a successful and well established business in Boroughbridge. They are looking to identify an Accounts Assistant to join their Head Office team on an initial 1 month temporary basis.
The Accounts Assistant role is a key position within the Head Office function, with responsibility for a range of finance and administrative tasks - helping to ensure the smooth day to day running of a busy multi-site business.
Duties will include;
- Process supplier invoices using Sage Accounts package
- Monitor overdue customer accounts
- Update and maintain Sage - enabling accurate and effective reporting to produced each month
- Maintain the smooth running of a Purchase Order system
- Deal with customer queries
- General administrative tasks on a timely and efficient basis
- Maintain all filing systems
The successful candidate will have:
- Previous experience of an Accounts Assistant/Accounts Administrator type role
- Previous exposure to a Sage accounts system
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
