Accounts Assistant (Temporary - Boroughbridge) 

Client:

Castlefield Recruitment are currently working with a successful and well established business in Boroughbridge. They are looking to identify an Accounts Assistant to join their Head Office team on an initial 1 month temporary basis.

Role:

The Accounts Assistant role is a key position within the Head Office function, with responsibility for a range of finance and administrative tasks - helping to ensure the smooth day to day running of a busy multi-site business.

Duties will include;

  • Process supplier invoices using Sage Accounts package
  • Monitor overdue customer accounts
  • Update and maintain Sage - enabling accurate and effective reporting to produced each month
  • Maintain the smooth running of a Purchase Order system
  • Deal with customer queries
  • General administrative tasks on a timely and efficient basis
  • Maintain all filing systems

Person:

The successful candidate will have:

  • Previous experience of an Accounts Assistant/Accounts Administrator type role
  • Previous exposure to a Sage accounts system
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
