Asbestos and Fire Compliance Officer - Social Housing - About The Client:

Castlefield Recruitment are currently working with a reputable housing association who are looking to appoint a permanent Asbestos and Fire Compliance Officer, based in Manchester

Asbestos and Fire Compliance Officer - Social Housing - About The Role:

  • Requesting various levels of asbestos surveys (MS, RD, Mix of the two, Sampling)
  • Visiting sites to review or assess asbestos and auditing remedial works to a percentage of works complete
  • Reviewing surveys for remedial works and completeness
  • Ensuring surveys are completed within the required KPI’s
  • Advising to all levels of the business regarding asbestos survey information
  • Requesting for remedial works to be completed
  • Using keystone to input asbestos survey data through KGI files and update remediated items
  • Monitoring the fire risk assessment programme, requesting and ensuring remedial works are completed
  • Conducting fire risk assessments when necessary
  • Liaising with contractor queries
  • Deputising for Legionella testing programme when necessary

 Asbestos and Fire Compliance Officer - Social Housing - What You Need:

  • Experience within a social housing environment previously is essential
  • Must currently hold a minimum of a P402 in asbestos
  • Fire safety qualification is desirable
