Job Description

Client:

Castlefield Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Buyer based in South Yorkshire for a Non-for profit organisation. The role will be initially for 7 months however could be extended due to workload.

Role:

  • Looking at cost efficiencies and savings
  • Undertake quotations
  • Local tendering
  • Responsible for procurement and supply chain activities
  • Proactively challenge current practices and strive to deliver continuous improvement
  • Assisting with supplier pricing/analysis
  • Produce and implement policies and procedures that will have an effect on the provision of the service

Person

  • Good communication skills
  • Previous buying experience
  • Contract management skills would be desirable
