Contracts Manager

Job Description

Client:

Castlefield Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Contracts Manager for a public sector organisation in Derbyshire. This temporary opportunity is likely to be for a period of 3 months with the opportunity to become permanent.

Role:

  • Liaison with external agencies and public sector organisations and developing these relationships
  • Establishing, mobilising and monitoring a large contract
  • Maximising income avenues and cost reduction
  • Supporting contract negotiations
  • Reconciling planning expectations, local aims and changes to organisation policy, ensuring contracts are robust and incorporate all legal and technical requirements
  • Handling timelines and risk registers for the project

Person:

  • Experience of public sector contracts is desirable
  • Previous experience of undertaking a project within a contracts team
  • Excellent communication skills are essential
