Finance Officer/Purchase and Sales Ledger Clerk

Job Description


Castlefield Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Finance Officer/Purchase and Sales Ledger Clerk to work for a business in Sale. This temporary position will be for one month ongoing with potential permanent roles which can be applied for.


  • Dealing with all aspects of purchase and sales ledgers
  • Matching, batching and coding invoices
  • Carrying out statement reconciliations
  • Handling high volumes of customer queries
  • BACS and CHAPS payments
  • Carrying out ad-hoc tasks within finance


  • The successful candidate will be happy working in a fast paced environment and will be confident on the phone
  • You will have worked within a purchase ledger position before and will be competent using MS Excel
