Leasehold Officer - Social Housing - About The Client:

Castlefield Recruitment are currently working with a well-established housing association who are looking to appoint a Leasehold Officer, for a temporary position based in the Manchester area

Leasehold Officer - Social Housing - About The Role:

  • You will provide a highly visible community based neighbourhood service, engaging with customers on a day to day basis, gaining a deep understanding of their needs and priorities and developing outcome focused action plans that meet their aspirations.

  • Investigate & monitor cases of anti-social behaviour, nuisance, harassment and all tenancy breaches

  • Identify remedies for ASB including Restorative Justice, tenancy warnings, monitoring injunctions, ABAs etc

  • Ensure sound void property management

  • Monitor rent accounts and take timely action following an arrears escalation procedure including home visits and serving of NSP or NTQ

  • Carry out tenancy visits and check the property is being well maintained and report any repair issues to be actioned

     

Leasehold Officer - Social Housing - What You Need:

  • You will need to be passionate about developing customer focused tenancy and estate based services that support sustainability
  • Able to adapt to changing work demands and complex challenges
  • Experience meeting demanding targets and work loads
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation relating to Neighbourhood Management
  • Knowledge and experience of working with a range of IT software systems including Microsoft Office, Northgate, CRM and bespoke housing management systems
  • Have a proven track record of delivering excellent front line service
  • Full UK driving license and use of own vehicle to carry out home visits
  • Experience working in a leasehold or housing officer position
