Senior Buyer

Job Description

Client:

Castlefield Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Senior Buyer based in Merseyside for a Public Sector organisation. The role will be initially for 3-6 months however could be extended due to workload.

Role:

  • Responsible for undertaking quotations and local tendering
  • Looking at cost efficiencies and savings
  • Accountable for procurement and supply chain activities
  • Assisting with supplier pricing/analysis
  • Produce and implement policies and procedures that will have an effect on the provision of the service

Person

  • Good communication skills
  • OJEU experience is desirable
