Senior Procurement Officer/Analyst

Client:

Castlefield Recruitment are currently looking for Senior Procurement candidates to join a large Public Sector organisation on an initial interim basis. The role will be based in Liverpool and follwoing on from the initial interim stint, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to go permanent.

Role:

  • Undertaking quotations and tendering
  • Negotiating contracts and liaising with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Working with multiple Public Sector Frameworks & eProcurement systems
  • Accountable for procurement and supply chain activities
  • Reporting directly into the Head of Procurement

Person:

  • Good negotiation skills
  • Previous Public Sector experience
  • OJEU
  • Potential to work out of multiple sites - own transport desirable
