Client:
Castlefield Recruitment are currently working with a large public sector organisation based in the North East who are looking to recruit an Assistant Financial Accountant. The role will initially be for 3 months which will then lead into a permanent position.
Duties:
- Provide VAT advice to other Finance Departments and responsible for the VAT returns
- Treasury Management and Control of Cash
- Responsible for balance sheet reconciliations
- Responsible for Technical and Control Accounts
- Leadership and development of junior members of staff
Person:
- Strong with systems - including MS Excel
- Strong communication skills with the ability to liaise with senior management
