Castlefield Recruitment are currently working with a large housing association who are looking to appoint a permanent Building Safety Surveyor paying between £36,000 - £42,000 per annum, subject to experience. The role offers hybrid working but does require regular travel around the West Midlands.
Building Safety Surveyor – Housing Association – About The Role:
Responsible for Fire Door Replacements, FRA repairs, improvement, and delivery of essential works
Provide programme management and site management to ensure that all FRA actions are carried out to a high standard.
Work with safety consultants and contractors to deliver regulatory statutory and legislation compliance.
Provide technical reports detailing the findings of investigations of technical safety issues and provide solutions.
Carry out pre and post inspection work orders, issuing default or corrective notice and provide technical solutions as required.
Building Safety Surveyor – Housing Association – What You Need:
Knowledge of Fire regulation and Building Control regulations associated with residential accommodation and social housing.
Experience of managing contractors delivering technical work to housing stock
Experience of managing risk assessment and safety inspection processes and procedures across housing stock
