Client:
Castlefield Recruitment are currently working with a Public Sector Organisation in South London, to recruit a Category Manager (Capital and Major Projects) on a permanent basis.
A strong background in procurement, extensive tendering experience and knowledge of PCR2015 are essential.
The role offers a hybrid working policy; with 3 days per week required on site for meetings in their South London office.
Role:
- Provide a proactive category management and procurement service to public sector organisations across London
- Develop, implement, monitor and review procurement strategies within the Capital and Major Projects category area
- Project pipeline management whilst agreeing sourcing strategies with stakeholders
- Run competitive procurements (FTS tenders, non-FTS tenders and Framework Mini-competitions), ranging from £50k to over £50m
Individual:
- Excellent Procurement expertise from the Public Sector
- Ability and a track record of running tenders within the Public Sector
