Category Manager | Hybrid | £37,000 - £42,000 per annum | Permanent

Client: 

Castlefield Recruitment are currently working exclusively with a leading national Public sector organisation, to recruit a Category Manager.

This organisation operates a hybrid working policy, requiring on-site presence on average 1 day per week at the Lincolnshire based office.

This position would suit an individual with a strong background in public sector procurement, with extensive experience working under frameworks and developing tenders.

Role: 

• Work under the Capital category
• Work with national framework, producing direct awards and further competitions
• Develop complex tenders and ensure full compliance throughout the process
• Manage one indirect report, assisting in furthering their development
• Put together and present post contract award reports to stakeholders

Individual:

• Ideal for individuals with a track record within the Public Sector
• No previous line management experience required
• Experience working with frameworks and PCR2015 is essential
