Castlefield Recruitment are partnering with a Leading Case Management company based in London to recruit a Clinical Manager on a permanent basis. The role will be mainly remote, managing a small team of case managers meeting clients and the team regularly within in central London.

Job Title: Clinical Manager (Case Management)

£60,000 to £70,000 depending on experience

Permanent Role

Remote role with a requirements for client visits, meetings on regular basis

37.5 hours, part time considered

The client is a clinically-led case management and expert witness services company.

You must have relevant experience within the legal/insurance case management field.

We are recruiting for a full time Clinical Manager to join the our team and contribute to the ongoing development and growth of the company.

Duties:

To ensure the delivery of an efficient and effective case management clinical service, which meets high quality standards of safety and service provision to our case management clients. The role includes some direct case management with catastrophically injured client, as well as providing support to the case managers.

  1. To support the managing director in ensuring companies staff provide a high quality clinical service to case management clients and other stakeholders
  2. To be the named clinical specialist for a specific diagnostic group or speciality area
  3. To effectively supervise clinical case managers' workload on a day-to-day basis.
  4. To ensure high quality standards of the clinical service and performance within specific cases and service, as well as within the context of the whole company.
  5. To ensure effective and timely communication of the relevant issues and information about the clinical service across the management and operational structure of the company.
  6. To allocate cases and liaise with legal referrers as required.
  7. To supervise and monitor the work of a small team of practitioners (case managers) and ensure that this contributes to maintaining high quality standards.
  8. To support clinical staff to maintain continuing professional development.
  9. To carry out clinical staff appraisals and reviews.
  10. To identify training needs of clinical staff and enable those needs to be met.
  11. To assist with the development and delivery of training as required.
  12. To maintain market awareness, attending relevant conferences and PR opportunities as appropriate.
  13. To maintain a small fee earning caseload (around a 3rd of the role)
  14. To take part in the selection and recruitment of practitioners.
  15. To be aware of the business goals of the company and participate in relevant meetings contributing KPI data as required.
  16. To work closely with other members of the senior management team, and attend SMT meetings, to ensure company is a well-led organisation
  17. To contribute to the development of policies and procedures required to meet and maintain Care Quality Commission (CC) requirements and standards.
  18. To use and manage and maintain database systems, identifying areas for improvement and implementing these as relevant.
  19. If required, to investigate and respond to complaints in accordance with the company complaints policy and procedure.
  20. To maintain a high standard of professional company presence and behaviour and ensure that practitioners also adhere to this.
  21. To undertake any other duties as reasonably required.

Other Responsibilities:

Duties involve having access to client information of a confidential nature that is covered by the Data Protection Act, or may be commercially sensitive. In such circumstances confidentiality must be maintained at all times in accordance with the company policies. If you are unclear at any time, refer to your manager.

To positively represent the Company and its interests and promote good relationships with customers.

To adhere to and operate within all Company governance protocols and operational arrangements, professional standards of practice and be law abiding.

Undertake all reasonable training, personal and professional development actively designed to support you in your role and to maintain your professional registration.

To maintain current registration with your regulatory professional body.

To hold current enhanced DBS certification.

To maintain membership of relevant case management organisation/s e.g. CMSUK; BABICM; IRCM
