Castlefield Recruitment are currently recruiting a Compliance Officer for a specialist national housing association in their South-West region. This is a home working role with property visits required 2-3 days per week. This is a permanent role paying £38,811 per annum, plus car and home working allowances totalling £5,063 (£43,874 total package).
The role:
- To oversee the electrical servicing programme and EICR’s
- Visit properties to conduct routine compliance inspections for the big six compliance areas
- Manage contractor performance for the electrical programme, holding weekly and quarterly performance meetings
- Assist the Compliance Manager in monitoring, following up and obtaining relevant certification or evidence to demonstrate that remedial works are completed in accordance with the respective management plan. Ensure that electronic records are updated, including dates of next inspection or maintenance, or review dates.
- Ensure the asset database is maintained appropriately
- Interpret findings of Fire Risk Assessments to and implement appropriate action plans
The person:
- Experience in a compliance focused role within a housing association or relevant property maintenance environment
- Knowledge of building maintenance legislation and procedures
- Knowledge of electrical compliance requirements
