Client:

Castlefield Recruitment are currently working with a market leading and progressive business, based in North Leeds who have enjoyed a very successful period of expansion. They are looking to identify a Credit Controller to join their team on an initial temporary basis on support the team. They offer a flexible working policy of one or two days a week in the office where parking is available.

Role:

Duties will include;

  • Utilising various resources (e.g. phone, e-mail) in order to contact clients and proactively maximise cashflow and minimise overdue/ bad debt
  • Investigate and resolve client queries, identifying issues, proposing solutions and carry out remedial action to ensure client queries are resolved timely
  • Identify correct lines of reporting and escalate queries to ensure swift resolution of customer issues
  • Record all transactions / communications with clients and colleagues in the company database to ensure the company’s records are accurate and current at all times

Person:

The successful candidate will:

  • Have previous experience working within Credit Control
  • Hold strong system skills - including MS Excel
  • Be highly personable with the ability to resolve a broad range of queries in a professional manner
