Client:

Castlefield Recruitment are currently working with a large public sector organisation in the North West, who are looking to recruit a Deputy Head of Financial Management for an initial 6 month period. The salary for this position will be dependent on experience.

Duties:

• Overseeing the monthly management accounts and financial performance of the Divisional Finance Managers
• Responsible for the budget setting, business planning and preparation of business cases  
• Interpretation of the monthly financial data and relaying information back to senior management  
• Accountable for the complete management accounts function, making sure monthly timetables are adhered to
• Responsible for all aspects of relationship management liaising and negotiating with clinical staff across the organisation
• Contributing to the overall effectiveness of the Financial Management team by working closely with the other Senior Finance Managers and other senior colleagues within the Trust 
• Responsible for financial risk analysis and the Cost Improvement Programmes

Person:

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to relay financial information to non-financial staff  
• Ability to drive and lead financial teams mentoring and developing on the way
• Strong excel skills with the ability to manipulate and interpret complex financial data
