About the Role:

An exceptional opportunity has arisen for a dynamic and experienced healthcare leader to take on the pivotal role of Director at a leading Health Screening service.

Building on their day surgery & diagnostic specialty services, the client is developing a reputation as a leading provider of Healthcare Screening services in Central London.

There is a significant opportunity to expand this service through further development of the health screening packages and growth of the existing client base.

The successful candidate will lead the service with a strong focus on performance, innovation, and continuous improvement.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Service Development & Optimisation:

Work closely with operational teams to refine and enhance the patients journey, ensuring an outstanding patient experience

Lead the development of new screening packages and commercial strategies to expand the service offerings

  • Performance Management:

Maintain senior oversight of service performance, monitoring operational, clinical, and financial KPIs

Implement data-driven strategies for continuous improvement

  • Business Growth & Client Engagement:

Develop and nurture relationships with key stakeholders, including corporate partners and high-profile clients.

Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to drive awareness, engagement, and client acquisition

  • Operational Leadership:

Oversee day-to-day management of administrative and clinical teams, ensuring seamless delivery of high-quality care

Manage service level agreements (SLAs) with external providers.

  • Quality Assurance & Compliance:

Ensure adherence to all regulatory requirements, including CQC standards

Drive a culture of excellence through regular audits, risk management, and continuous performance evaluation

  • Financial & Commercial Management:

Take ownership of budgeting, financial planning, and resource allocation to optimise efficiency and sustainability

Support business development initiatives and revenue growth strategies

  • Leadership & People Development:

Recruit, mentor, and manage a high-performing team

Foster a positive, collaborative workplace culture with strong professional development pathways.

  • Innovation & Strategic Development:

Identify and implement new technologies, methodologies, and best practices to enhance service delivery

Lead initiatives that position as a pioneering force in preventative healthcare.

Our client is looking for an exceptional individual with a strong background in healthcare leadership, commercial acumen, and a passion for driving service excellence.

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • Proven track record of leading high-profile, complex projects within a healthcare setting
  • Extensive experience in managing independent clinical centres, including administration, operations, and commercial functions
  • Strong ability to translate strategic vision into practical execution, from concept development to full implementation
  • High level of emotional intelligence and ability to influence stakeholders across all levels of the organisation
  • Strong commercial acumen, with expertise in business development, sales strategies, and financial performance management
  • Demonstrated success in building, managing, and mentoring high-performing teams
  • A customer-centric approach, ensuring the highest level of service excellence at both strategic and operational levels
  • Experience in working within a fast-paced, growth-oriented healthcare environment
  • Passion for healthcare innovation and preventative medicine

Desirable Experience:

  • Previous experience as a CQC Registered Manager
  • Experience in developing and commercialising new healthcare services
  • Knowledge of accreditation and governance requirements in a healthcare setting
