Estates Manager, Barnsley, £200 - £250pday (Monday – Friday)

Client:

Castlefield Recruitment are currently recruiting for a temporary Estates Manager to join a large Public Sector organisation in Barnsley for a 6 month assignment (with a strong possibility of extension). The assignment can start immediately.

Role:

The role forms part of a busy Estates Team, who provide a maintenance service to the organisation’s sites, duties will include;

  • Lead in providing engineering maintenance for the organisation, including management of staff
  • Ensures that all SLAs, PPM and reactive work is actioned in accordance with the requirements of the Service Level Agreements/contracts
  • Directly manage External Consultant design teams, Contractor teams, Supervisors and internal tradesmen of all trades
  • Undertake multiple Authorised Person duties in specialist technical services where appropriate training has been provided

Person:

The successful candidate will have;

  • Significant experience within an Estates or Facilities Management role
  • Previous experience of working within public buildings would be advantageous
  • Authorised Person (Water Hygiene)
  • Degree level or equivalent in a Services trade
