Castlefield Recruitment are currently working in partnership with a South East-based local authority to recruit a Finance Business Partner on an initial 3 – 6 month basis (strong possibility for extension). This is an excellent opportunity to add value to an organisation going through a period of progressive change, and can be worked remotely (occasional trips to the office).

Responsabilities;

• The role plays a key role in providing a robust accounting service to the Housing service area
• Liaise with budget holders to produce accurate budgets and ensure that financial risk is understood
• Assist in the training of budget holders on financial matters
• Production of KPI reports
• Presentation of financial reports to senior management
• Attendance and contribution to regular budget monitoring reports with senior stakeholders

The person;

• CCAB/CIMA qualified, or relevant experience
• Proven business partnering approach
• Experience within public sector finance
• Local authority experience
