Finance Business Partner | 6 months + | Remote Working | Local Government

Castlefield Recruitment are currently working in partnership with a reputable Local Authority to recruit a Finance Business Partner on an initial 6 month interim basis (strong possibility for extension). This is an excellent opportunity to add value to a progressive organisation during a period of positive change. Key responsibilities include;

• Playing a key role in the business partnering team
• Providing a robust management and financial accounting service to the Adults directorate
• Providing expert financial analysis and advice to support work on service plans
• Building influential relationships with key stakeholders across service areas
• Understanding cost drivers and risks, and identifying opportunities for savings
• Providing advice to stakeholders to facilitate informed decision-making

The person;

• Qualified Accountant (CCAB or equivalent)
• Proven business partnering approach
• Experience within Local Government Finance
