Client:
Castlefield Recruitment are currently working with a large NHS organisation in the North West who are looking to recruit a Finance Manager on a permanent basis. The role will be paying between £40,000 to £50,000 depending on experience.
Role:
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Finance Manager, a role responsible for producing reports, projections and analysis for a large and complex Division within the Trust. There is a significant time commitment involved in meeting budget holders and generating ‘intelligence’ to support the forecasting and the business planning process. The post holder will take the lead in standardising and automating reports or reviewing existing reporting standards, in inducting & providing on-going training and support to budget holders & other key staff.
Duties will include;
- Produce high quality, timely, accurate and appropriate analytical and interpretive financial management information to Senior Finance Business Partners, Finance Business Partners, General Managers, the senior management team, operational managers and other senior staff throughout the Trust
- Act as the single point of contact for financial matters including resource related issues such as purchasing, payroll and accounts payable and receivable
- Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures to deliver an efficient and effective month end process and ensure there is a robust process for the dissemination of the relevant information in a timely manner
- Working with Head of MA Analytics and the Head of MA Analytics ensure the delivery of accurate and timely reporting of financial information to appropriate levels of management
- Lead, coach and manage the performance of their team of two in line with good people management practices
Person:
The successful Finance Manager:
- The role requires good communication skills particularly in explaining finance to non finance staff
- The post holder be working towards a recognised CCAB or equivalent qualification, and have some experience of working with senior teams within finance and be fully committed to Continuous Professional Development
