Client:
Castlefield Recruitment are currently working with a consultancy practice who provide public sector organisations with access to a wide range of construction, property and facilities management procurement frameworks, operating within the social housing, education and local authority sectors. 

Role:
We are looking to recruit a finance manager for a 6 month fixed term contract to provide maternity cover. 
Duties will include;
•    Completing the preparation and distribution of monthly management accounts preparing budgets and the annual year end process
•    Reconciling budgets and reviewing variances as well as cash flow projections and daily cash management
•    Business partnering with department heads and adding value through providing financial insights
•    Day to day team management of the finance team ensuring and liaising acting as the key contact for external auditors
•    Attending management meetings when required and dealing with issues arising in the department
•    Supporting growth strategy in order to maximise the potential for continued partnership working and repeat business

Person:
•    You will be fully qualified (CIMA/ACA/CIPFA/ACCA)
•    If you have experience within housing, public sector, or education it would be beneficial
•    Supervisory or management experience would be preferred
•    You must have the gravitas to work with key department heads from across the organisation
•    You must be immediately available or available at short notice
