Client:
Castlefield Recruitment are working with a large housing association based in the North West in order to recruit a Rent and Service Charge Finance Officer. The role is a 3-6 month temporary position with a strong possibility of a permanent opportunity due to a restructure.

Duties will include;

  • Calculating and administering annual rent and service charge increases for a range of tenure types
  • Providing support and expert advice to colleagues on rent and service charge related issues
  • Supporting the maintenance of an accurate housing management database
  • Ensure postings to the Group’s rent accounts are made on a timely and accurate basis in accordance with SLAs
  • Ensuring that consistent procedures, systems, and methods of working are employed to enable production of management information including KPIs, budgets, forecasts and plans.
  • Providing a high level of financial support to other Managers and budget holders

Person:
The successful candidate will:

  • Have experience within housing but it isn’t a prerequisite
  • Have strong Excel Skills
  • Background within Rents, Service Charges, Accounts Payable or Accounts Receivable
