Financial Accountant | Public Sector | North Manchester | Permanent 

Castlefield Recruitment are working with a public sector organisation based in North Manchester in order to recruit a Financial Accountant.

Role:
You will support the ongoing running and development of finance systems 
Responsibilities;

• Producing Annual Reports and Financial Statements for audit and publication while liaising with external auditors 
• Assisting in the preparation of the consolidated Annual Financial Statements ensuring compliance with appropriate SORPs and accounting standards
• Overseeing the management of group general ledger systems, ensuring that budgets and financial data are properly recorded
• Ensuring the timely production and issue of monthly management accounts, management reports and cash flow forecasts 
• Preparing detailed annual budgets, financial forecasts and full year out-turn of income and expenditure 
• Assisting with the preparation of detailed annual budgets, financial forecasts and full year out-turn of income and expenditure 

Person:
The successful Accountant will be:

• CCAB or CIMA qualified 
• You must be technically strong and worked within a financial accounting position previously
• Experience within the public sector or an accountancy practice
