Governance Officer

Governance Officer - About The Client:

Castlefield Recruitment are working with an ambitious housing association based in South Manchester who are looking to appoint a permanent Governance Officer.

Governance Officer - About The Role:

  • To maintain statutory and regulatory registers
  • File annual returns and act as the central contact for statutory and regulatory notices and returns required by the Regulator, government and other bodies
  • To continuously improve and implement a probity framework which both meets legal and regulatory requirements and provides probity guidance and training for staff and Board Members
  • To ensure processes are in place to meet all key regulatory requirements including annual self- assessments, and In-Depth Assessments
  • Support policy design and development within policy framework

Governance Officer - What You Need:

  • Knowledge in governance and compliance requirements of a Housing Association – Essential
  • Experience of the governance needs arising from the delivery of large-scale housing development activity – Desirable
  • Basic knowledge of Company Law – Desirable
