Head of Finance | Permanent | Remote Working

Castlefield Recruitment are currently working in partnership with a Public Sector organisation who are looking to identify a Head of Finance to join their established team on a permanent basis. This role can be performed fully remotely with occasional office trips.

This is an excellent opportunity for a progressive Finance professional looking to take a step up to their first Head of Finance post, or for an experienced Head of Finance looking to add value to a reputable organisation.

Duties;

• The role will be responsible for leading a customer-focussed, value adding business partnering team
• Building influential relationships with key stakeholders across the organisation’s Service areas, at a strategic level
• Demonstrate understanding of fianncial expertise to these senior stakeholders to facilitate informed decision-making
• Supporting the development of effective financial strategies to ensure statutory financial duties are met and the organisation is able to deliver its strategic priorities

The person;

• Fully Qualified with experience developed across the Public Sector
• Strategic mindset with the ability to build key relationships at senior level
• Strong commercial acumen
