Head of Finance | Public Sector | Hybrid Working

Castlefield Recruitment are partnering with a reputable Public Sector organisation based in the Lancashire, who are looking for a Head of Finance to join their team on an interim basis.

The role will report to and work closely with the Director of Finance and will be responsible for the providing a high providing high quality financial, management and corporate accounting services, and quality treasury management.

Responsibilities include;

• Play a key role in developing and delivering the Organisation's transformation programme
• Supporting capital projects in order to develop financial plans 
• Leading on the delivery of the closure of accounts and production of statutory accounts
• Responsibility for the delivery of relevant and timely advice and guidance to Members, the Senior Management Team, Directors, Heads of Service and Budget Holders
• Development and leadership of Finance team
• Leading on Treasury Management strategies

The successful candidate;

• CCAB/CIMA qualified Finance professional with significant post qualification experience and evidence of continuing personal development
• Significant experience of managing relevant teams/areas with demonstrable success
• Experience of delivering the closure of accounts and the production of statutory accounts
