Head of Financial Reporting – highly competitive salary + benefits + bonus + pension

Client:

Castlefield Recruitment are currently working with a prestigious organisation who have enjoyed a very successful period of expansion despite the global pandemic. They are looking to identify a high calibre Head of Financial Reporting to join their Finance Team, with a clear path of career progression for the right candidate.

Role:

• Lead and manage the production of all internal and external group and subsidiary statutory financial reporting
• Taking responsibility for the year end and interim financial reporting processes, ensuring accurate financial reporting output in accordance with IFRS/UK GAAP
• Overall responsibility for the timing and accurate preparation of all financial information in the annual report
• Joint responsibility for the Project Management of the annual report
• Managing the year end audit process
• Managing the preparation of the financial statements for the Group's subsidiaries
• Overseeing the preparation of monthly control packs as part of the month end process
• Covenant Reporting for our club of banks on a quarterly basis
• Liaising with key stakeholders such as CFO and Investor Relations
• Overseeing the  balance sheet review process  
• Responsibility for a team of 10, with a growth mindset and inspiring others cultivating high performance teams

Person:

The Head of Financial Reporting role will suit;

• Would suit an ACA qualified Accountant with 5 years PQE
• Would suit a Big 4/Top 10 trained candidate seeking a second/third Industry move
• Ability to communicate effectively and partner with senior management and non-finance staff
