Head of Resourcing | Fixed Term Contract (4m) | £62,000 - £69,000 | London

Castlefield Recruitment are working in partnership with a leading NHS Trust in London that requires an experienced on a four month Fixed Term basis. The ideal candidate will be experienced as a Head of Resourcing, and will work in a hybrid role with four days on site, in London.

Key responsibilities will include;

  • Manage the recruitment division for medical and non medical staffing, leading a team of 20 staff
  • Responsible for supervising and monitoring the work of the Resourcing Team Leaders and Administrators to ensure the workload is of high quality, evenly distributed and carried out to a high standard
  • Develop and implement resourcing plans to meet strategic objectives ensuring that equality, diversity and inclusion (EDI) are embedded into recruitment process, practice and strategy
  • Lead the delivery of services that focus on high quality customer experience for candidates and recruiting managers
  • Provide leadership on temporary staffing issues to support the Trust in meeting its corporate objectives and financial savings targets
  • Engage with a wide range of stakeholders across the organisation to lead the project to deliver minimal agency usage across the organisation in line with agreed timeframes, regularly reporting on progress to the Workforce Development Committee
  • Ensure the team adheres to the recruitment service level agreements, and Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s), and ensuring that appropriate action is taken if the standards are not being met
  • Work closely with nursing and clinical teams to develop strategies to ensure that the Trust can attract a workforce to deliver high standards of clinical care
  • In collaboration with the communications department develop the employer brand and supporting candidate attraction strategies

Key experience required;

  • Educated to HR / business degree level or equivalent academic standard, or equivalent experience CIPD qualified/accredited or equivalent level of experience
  • Experience of managing medical and non medical resourcing staffing activities in a fast-paced changing environment
  • Leadership expedience within the NHS
  • Well-developed interpersonal, influencing and persuading skills, with an ability to lead and motivate a team
  • Hold expert knowledge of the AAC requirements for Consultant appointments
