Castlefield Recruitment are working in partnership with a Public Sector Organisation based in the North-West who require an experienced HR Business Partner for a 6-month Fixed-Term placement.

This is a fantastic opportunity to deliver a professional and strategic business partnering service assigned to a designated portfolio of central support areas. You will become a key member of the Management Team for a designated service area, acting as a senior Business Partner. This post offers the potential to develop a robust and in-depth understanding of your workforce and to contribute to the delivery of People Strategies, Organisational Development, and Planning.

The post offers flexible and hybrid working, at £40,000 - £50,000 per annum.

Key experience;

  • Experience providing expert Human Resources advice on a wide range of employment relations and litigation matters
  • Substantial experience at senior levels across a range of HR specialisms, including working understanding of Organisational Development and Change Management
  • Technical HR knowledge of workforce planning, Public Sector initiatives, and employment law
  • The ability to analyse data and develop transformational OD solutions to address trends
  • Experience developing and delivering management training and presentations
  • CIPD Membership / Educated to Master’s level – or equivalent experience

Key responsibilities;

  • To work as part of the service management team in setting and implementing business targets and to develop the workforce strategy for that area, whilst ensuring it is compatible with Trust-wide workforce plans
  • To provide a proactive, value adding service which will include planning and supporting the implementation of major change programs
  • Developing People plans to support recruitment and retention, performance management, and succession planning for future developments to ensure sustainability
