Income Officer – Housing Association – About The Client:
Castlefield Recruitment are currently working with a Lancashire housing association who are looking to appoint an Income Officer on a temporary contract for 6 weeks, with a strong indication that it will be extended. The role offers between £21-£22 per hour via umbrella, with a hybrid and flexible working policy which requires presence in the office only once per week after initial training.
Income Officer – Housing Association – About The Role:
- Provide customers and their advocates with accurate information regarding their accounts with the Group, including payment amounts and any debt that is owed and the range of payment options that are open to them.
- Act as the main point of contact for tenants, addressing their inquiries, concerns, and requests with professionalism and empathy.
- Maintaining accurate records of rental payments, arrears, income assessments, and financial support provided, and preparing reports for management and relevant authorities as required.
- Ensuring compliance with court orders related to arrears, monitoring adherence to repayment plans, and taking appropriate actions in cases of breach or non-compliance.

- Experienced in income management and enforcement
- Knowledge of welfare reform and welfare benefits
- Knowledge of legal frameworks relating to tenancy arrears recovery
