Castlefield Recruitment are currently working with a Public Sector organisation in Lancashire to recruit an IT Category Manager.
Role:
- Lead on tendering exercises, ensuring full compliance with public contract regulations and organisational policies/procedures
- Utilise frameworks for direct awards and mini competitions
- Work under the ICT category, managing projects
- Liaise with senior level stakeholders both internal and external
- Proactively develop and maintain specialist category knowledge and have an awareness of constantly changing markets
- Identify opportunities for cost savings
Person:
- IT category experience
- Previous experience in the Public Sector
- Strong stakeholder management experience
- CIPS desirable
