Interim Catering Manager, Manchester, £150 -£180 per day 

Client:

Castlefield Recruitment are currently recruiting for an interim Catering Manager to join a NHS organisation in Manchester for an initial 6 month assignment with the likelihood of extension. 

Role:

The Catering Manager role is a key role for the Trust with the responsibility for overseeing 5 hospitals across the Trust.

Responsibilities will include;

  • Day to day management of the catering services across the Trust including distribution
  • Support Facilities Manager and comply with Health and Safety Legislation
  • Review and improve systems and practices
  • Accountable for maintaining service standards
  • Carry out site visits to maintain quality
  • Implement and review management control systems

Person:

The successful candidate will have:

  • Significant experience within a similar Catering Manager role within a healthcare or wider public sector environment
  • Previous experience of managing large catering projects
  • Strong communication, leadership skills and people management skills
  • Comfortable in working on site within a healthcare setting
  • Level 4 Food Hygiene Certificate would be preferred but not essential
