Salary: £200 - 250 Per Day GBP
Contract: 6 months

Client:
Castlefield Recruitment are partnering with a public sector organisation in central Manchester to appoint a finance manager on a 6 month interim basis. This team is about to embark on a number of internal changes and need an experienced interim candidate to manage a key team within finance.

Role:
You will be responsible for managing a team of part qualified and transactional finance staff, whilst providing financial support to budget holders from across the company. 
Duties will include;

  • Produce management accounts, including capital, balance sheet, cashflows, and variance reports
  • managing a team of part qualified and transactional finance staff
  • Produce annual budgets and the business plan
  • Provide financial support to all budget holders
  • Regularly monitor cashflow and cash requirements, including production of rolling cashflow forecasts ensuring cash balances meet business requirements
  • Produce annual accounts for review 

Person:

  • Fully qualified accountant (CIMA/ACCA/ACA/CIPFA) or QBE
  • Experience of managing a small team
  • NHS, local government or central government experience would be favouable 
  • It is essential that you are immediately available
