Castlefield Recruitment are delighted to be working with a leading public sector organisation as they look to recruit an Interim Logistics Coordinator to join their team on a temporary contract until March 2022. The role will be based on the outskirts of Birmingham with free parking on site.

The role forms an essential part of the supply chain & logics team, to manage the various queries and incidents that arise during the process, ensuring the smooth operation of the supply chain.

Key duties;

  • Managing all assigned incidents and queries until resolution
  • Update and distribution of key program performance metrics
  • Monitoring and reacting to all alerts on the MI System
  • Management of assigned outbreak requests until resolution
  • Management of assigned reverse logistics queries until resolution
  • Input into the daily allocations process for all assigned supply related incidents 
  • Consolidation and distribution of assigned critical SC&L communications 
  • Ensuring that all tasks/incidents and queries is logged and kept up to date

Experience;

  • Intermediate or advanced use of Microsoft excel and word
  • Use of databases to input, analysis and interpretation of data
  • Experience of troubleshooting and problem solving, escalation and de-escalation of tasks and issues
