Role: Interim Procurement Manager - Social Value

Rate: £475 - £500 p/d

Location: Liverpool

Castlefield Recruitment are currently recruiting an Interim Procurement Manager - Social Value to join a Public Sector organisation in Liverpool on an initial 6-month contract.

The Role:

• Responsible for recommending approaches to enhance the delivery of social value and supporting organisational policy through procurement.
• Provide guidance on how to assess/monitor supplier commitments related to social value.
• Ensure organisational procurements are aligned to organisational commitment to social responsibility.
• Engage with key stakeholders to develop longer-term plans for embedding social value.
• Review existing processes and see where things can improve and set out defined objectives of how to do this.
• Develop new tender documents with procurement team that include social value requirements that can be measured and tracked via KPIs.

The Person:

• PCR2015 knowledge
• Track record of delivery in social value initiatives
• Public sector procurement experience
• CIPS desirable
• Available at short notice
