Client:

Castlefield Recruitment are currently recruiting for a IT/Technology Category Manager to join a large Infrastructure Business in West Yorkshire. This will be a senior leadership position with extremely flexible working conditions available.

Role:

  • Ability to build and maintain a variety of constructive relationships with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders, develop negotiation plans and lead on complex commercial negotiations
  • Undertake market analysis to ensure continuous improvement occurs making a positive impact on the business
  • Challenge current business processes and effectively use current supply chains in use at the business
  • Exploit the SAP/Ariba and Microsoft platforms, applying appropriate sourcing and analytical tools as required and identify opportunities for continuous improvement
  • Conduct thorough spend management checks and adhere to EU Procurement Law whilst drafting contractual agreements and contract models
  • Responsible for the management and development of Assistant Category Buyers

Person:

  • Previous IT/Technology Category Management experience is essential
  • A proven track record of delivering value and efficiencies
  • Ability to analyse data sets and develop supply chain strategies that will benefit the business long term
  • Ability to communicate at all levels in order to gain a positive outcome
