Operational Estates Manager, Salisbury, £170 - £220 p/day (Monday – Friday), 6Months
Client:
Castlefield Recruitment are currently recruiting for a temporary Operational Estates Manager to join a large Public Sector organisation in Blackburn for a 6-month assignment (with a strong possibility of extension).
Role:
- Possess a significant amount of statutory compliance knowledge and strategic leadership whilst maintaining a close focus on the financial budget and specialist estates requirements
- Will be responsible for devising, co-ordinating and managing programmes of work in a timely and effective manner
- Lead and manage a team of 3 supervisors, 30 shift engineers, admin helpdesk
- Develop and implement service transformation and improvements
- Management of the department’s budget and annual release of Cost Improvement savings schemes
- Ensure the Trust has adequate Competent and Approved Persons to cover for the following; Ventilation, mgps, Water, Low Voltage, Lifts,(and any other as requested)
Person:
The successful candidate will have;
- Significant experience within a Hard FM related leadership role – ideally with exposure to working within public buildings or healthcare estates
- Either from a building Services/Electrical/Mechanical engineering background with qualifications and the capability to oversee reactive maintenance, PPMs and projects
