Castlefield Recruitment are working with a highly reputable organisation in Yorkshire who are looking to recruit a Payroll Officer to their team on a permanent basis. The role offers hybrid working, generous annual leave and other great benefits.
Duties:
- Acting as a first point of contact for internal employees to offer advice regarding anything payroll related
- Ensuring payroll data is accurate and maintaining an error free experience for colleagues
- Analysing the payroll process and implementing improvements where possible
- Updating/maintaining the payroll system and providing guidance to colleagues to ensure the system is being utilised
Experience:
- Previous experience in payroll and a great understanding of processes and procedures related to payroll
- Great attention to detail and exceptional organisation skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and Microsoft excel literate
- Knowledge of PAYE legislation and experience using iTrent
- Ability to work proactively and use your own initiative
- Not-for-profit/public sector background (desirable)
