Castlefield Recruitment are currently recruiting a Power BI Analyst to join an expanding organisation in West Yorkshire. The contract duration will be 3 months initially, paying between £27 and £34 per hour and the role offers remote working with ad-hoc time in the office required
The Role:
- Create reports using Excel, modelling data within it to highlight industry best practices
- Work with internal and external stakeholders, to gather requirements and build out designs for reporting
- Design dashboards, visualisations and metrics to improve the use of Business Intelligence
- Introduce and lead on new concepts of working to the business, driving the implementation of ideas within the business
- Champion data and reports, leading the organisation in growing and developing how data is used
- Act as a bridge between the data team and the rest of the business, using knowledge and experience to provide insights for efficient solutions and clearly outline and explain what the data means in real terms
- Understand and articulate data flow and lifecycle of data for clients
- Ensure that the performance framework remains fit for purpose, allowing for assessment of performance against objectives
The Person:
- Have experience with data reporting and Microsoft Excel
- Experience with Power BI is required
- An ability to work autonomously and as an efficient member of the team
- Previous data modelling and business analysis experience
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal
