Role: Procurement Administrator

Rate: £16 - £18 p/h

 

Castlefield Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Procurement Administrator to join a Birmingham based, Public Sector organisation in need of support. The role will be for 3 months with opportunities for extension.

 

The Role:

  • Lead on the day-to-day administrative tasks to support the procurement function
  • First point of call for all procurement queries
  • Assist in smooth running of procurement department
  • Deputise for the Procurement Officer when needed
  • Support in contract monitoring and data input/analysis
  • Organise and minute monthly contract meetings
  • Liaise with stakeholders
  • Collect information to support procurement projects

 

The Person:

  • Computer literate and capable of using different systems
  • Knowledge of Excel
  • Good communication skills both written and verbal
  • Public Sector experience desirable
  • Administrative experience
