Procurement Officer | North-East | £38,000 - £42,000 | Perm | Hybrid

Client:

Castlefield Recruitment are currently working with a Public Sector Organisation in the North-East to recruit a Procurement Officer to join the team on a permanent basis.

A background in Public Sector procurement is essential.

The role offers a hybrid working policy; with the requirement to attend the office 2 days per week, with 3 days working from home.

Role:

  • Ensure that all procurement and contract management activity is undertaken in accordance with agreed corporate procurement processes
  • Manage a selection of individual projects, within a variety of categories
  • Reporting directly to Category Manager
