Castlefield are currently working with a Public Sector organisation in Liverpool to recruit a Procurement Officer. The role is hybrid with 1 day p/w in the office and you will cover projects within Construction and Estates and Facilities.

 

The Role:

  • Supporting in the development of procurement strategy for projects within your categories
  • Lead on low value tenders end to end
  • Ensure all contracts are awarded in line with organisational policy and relevant UK legislation
  • Identify efficiencies and savings
  • Prepare all relevant sourcing/contract documentation
  • Ensure social value
  • Manage contract review meetings and ensure suppliers are monitored on agreed KPI/SLAs
  • Manage stakeholders at various levels of seniority both internal and external

 

The Person:

  • Public Sector procurement experience
  • CIPS desirable
  • Understanding of PCR2015 and the Procurement Act 2023
  • Knowledge of the procurement lifecycle
