Role: Procurement Specialist

Location: Manchester

Salary: £37,000 - £42,000

The Client:

Castlefield are currently recruiting for a Procurement Specialist to join a Public Sector organisation in Manchester. The role offers some great benefits that include site shutdown at Christmas and an increased holiday allowance.

The Role:

• End to end tendering both above and below threshold
• Ensure procurement projects are robust and compliant, in line with UK Procurement Regulations
• Managing regular contract reviews and negotiations with strategic suppliers
• Monitoring all spend and costs to ensure focus of Procurement principles on key spend areas to maximise actual savings
• Lead on delivery of procurement activity across the Group as directed by the Head of Procurement
• Undertake general Procurement support activities as required

The Person:

• MCIPS or working towards
• PCR2015
• Experience across multiple categories
