Project Surveyor - Social Housing - About The Client:

Castlefield Recruitment are currently working with a well-established housing association who are looking to appoint a Project Surveyor, for a permanent position based in the Manchester area.

Project Surveyor - Social Housing - About The Role:

  • Assist the Property Service Manager in ensuring the clients development and planned maintenance/investment programmes are effectively co-ordinated

  • Provide a range of Building Inspection & supervision services in relation to the maintenance of the clients housing stock. Ensuring that such works are carried out in accordance with procedure and specification, including voids, pre and post, planned, technical & stock condition

  • Clerk of Works duties

  • Contract administration, site meetings, preparing written reports assisting in producing contract documentation

  • Undertake programmed surveys of housing stock

  • Prepare reports

  • Undertake post-inspections

Project Surveyor - Social Housing - What You Need:

  • Experience working within the Social Housing Sector
  • Experience of working with the JCT contracts and external Contractors.
  • Knowledge of contract administration and health and safety legislation
