Castlefield Recruitment are currently recruiting a Project Surveyor (Fire Safety) for a housing association based in North Manchester. The role is on a permanent basis, paying between £36,000 - £39,000 subject to experience. The role offers a generous holiday allowance of 30 days plus bank holidays.
The role:
- Undertake roles and responsibility of a Building Surveyor whilst preparing and delivering projects
- Responsible for the delivery of fire safety works
- Report on individual project performance, including financial monitoring, ensuring that the overall objectives are achieved in line with strategic aims and objectives
- Day to day supervision of contractor and scheme performance in adherence to Health & Safety under CDM Regs 2015 is in line with expectations
The person:
- Experience of delivering Decent Homes investment projects in a residential environment
- Ability to undertake surveys, develop specifications to ensure projects are executed with clear aims and objectives
- Knowledge and understanding of construction sector, various forms of JCT contracts, CDM Regs 2015
