Property Surveyor - Social Housing - About The Client:

Castlefield Recruitment are currently working with a well-established housing association who are looking to appoint an Interim Property Surveyor.

Property Surveyor - Social Housing - About The Role:

  • Ensure that all pre and post inspections are carried out on Void properties and Responsive Repairs and that all contractors are adhering to the company’s standards.
  • Assist and work alongside the Operations and Repairs teams to ensure that they have all relevant and reliable information in order to carry out repairs and address areas of concern.
  • To assist with any investigations that may take place, providing technical knowledge where necessary.
  • Undertake quality checks of contractor works, ensuring customer satisfaction and quality of work.

Property Surveyor  - Social Housing - What You Need:

  • Experience of responsive repairs and voids in the social housing sector
  • Knowledge of Health and Safety regulations in relation to the Construction Industry e.g. CDM regulations
  • Experience of supervising and managing the work of contractors
  • Full UK driving license and access to a vehicle at all times
