The Client - Repairs and Voids Manager:

We are working with a well established social housing maintenance contractor to recruit an Interim Repairs and Voids Manager for a 6 month Fixed Term Contract based in Staffordshire.

The Role - Repairs and Voids Manager:

  • Lead a team of building maintenance staff who are responsible for the effective delivery of the responsive repairs and voids function
  • Ensure works are effectively prioritised, planned and carried out to standard, timescales and budget
  • Manage relationships with Front Line Workers and other key stakeholders to ensure ongoing effective service delivery
  • Ensure accurate records are maintained using appropriate systems and databases to enable regular analysis to be carried out and reporting to be completed as required
  • Provide information to key stakeholders to support performance reviews and decision making
  • Manage the performance and development of your team ensuring a quality service is provided and underperformance is dealt with appropriately

The Person - Repairs and Voids Manager:

  • Experience of working in a Repairs role within Social Housing
  • Management of a repairs team is essential
  • Effective stakeholder management, both internally and external to the organisation, including the ability to successfully persuade and influence others
  • IT proficient
