Location: Hatfield Hertford Hitchin Luton Stevenage
Salary: £190 - £210 Per Day GBP
Contract: 4 months minimum

Castlefield Recruitment are currently working exclusively with an NHS Trust in Hertfordshire to recruit a Risk and Compliance Manager on an interim basis initially until the end of March, with the possibility of it being extended and also a potential permanent role for the right candidate.

This role will be predominantly onsite but with some scope for homeworking and would require someone with risk management experience in the healthcare sector.

Duties;

  • To provide expert advice on the system of risk management, developing and embedding consistent, effective, and integrated risk management processes, particularly on CQC regulation across the Trust
  • To support the review and implementation of the Risk Management Strategy to support embedding effective risk management across the Trust, encouraging a quality and safety culture
  • To lead on the central monitoring of compliance against key regulatory notifications, including Deprivation of Liberties, IRMER, R43 (Coroner recommendations), CQC mortality outlier alerts and HSE improvement notices and recommendations from external reviews
  • To support the review and implementation of the Risk Management Strategy, Procedure and Improvement Plan ensuring it meets relevant national guidance
  • To support the development and implementation of the risk improvement plan to support embedding effective risk management across the organisation
  • To be responsible for leading the development and implementation of the assurance framework in order to demonstrate compliance for the regulation standards for CQC and other regulatory
  • To provide direction, education and support to Trust staff by co-ordinating the Risk Management Training Programme

 

The Person;

  • Expertise experience in risk on a managerial level, including
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all members of staff
  • Ability to prioritise own workload to plan, organise and complete projects within a defined timescale
  • Ability to deal with confidential and sensitive issues with tact
  • Attention to detail and able to see tasks through to completion
  • Excellent analytical skills and ability to interpret data
  • Flexible, self-motivated, team worker - outgoing and resourceful
