Senior Capital Project Manager | Permanent | Greater Manchester | £53,755 - £60,504

Client:

We are currently recruiting for a Senior Capital Projects Manager to join a large Public Sector organisation in the Greater Manchester region. 

The role will require a highly capable professional with a background of working within large complex organisations, with a track-record of successful delivery of capital projects - preferably within a healthcare environment.

Role:

Responsibilities will include;

• Lead and manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets
• Knowledge & understanding of the complex integration of engineering & building services involved within planning, design & implementation of schemes
• Health & Safety legislation
• Develop comprehensive project plans that outline scope, objectives, resources, and deliverables.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements and expectations
• Liaise with senior management, service users and design teams to ensure smooth project delivery
• Set up and manage construction contracts
• Manage the appointment of consultants and contractors
• Manage budget costs associated with capital projects

The successful candidate will have;

• Significant experience within a Capital related leadership role – ideally with exposure to working within public buildings or healthcare estates
• The successful candidate will possess a significant amount of statutory compliance knowledge and strategic leadership whilst maintaining a close focus on the financial budget and specialist estates/capital requirements
• Proven experience as a Project Manager in a relevant industry, with a strong portfolio of successfully completed projects
